In 1987 the World Commission on Environment & Development published a report entitled:‘Our Common Future’ In their report the Commission concluded that if we continue to:	Over-consume & waste natural resources Ignore of the plight of the poor Pollute & destroy the natural environment	then events would lead, inevitably, to everyone on Earth experiencing a dramatic decline in their quality of life. To describe how this accelerating process of decline could be halted, & eventually reversed, the commission adopted the term:
